Some history about us:
W A Plating was first established in 1987 and primarily did Terne Plating on petrol fuel fillernecks for the motor industry (Toyota, VW and GM). The technology was developed to plate the fuel fillernecks internally and externally using zinc plating. W A Plating expanded into all different metal treatments. The latest technologies are used in our facility where we use Trivalient environmentally friendly products. We are also ISO registered with NQA. Our staff are very competent and 90% are on long service some having been with the company since its inception.
In 2001 Microcor (Pty) Ltd was established. This is a joint venture between the directors of Eibach Oberflachentechnik (EOT) GmbH in Germany and W A Plating cc. Through our joint venture partners we were able to expand our metal treating services to include Delta Tone and Delta Seal. Industrial Powder coating is also available .

In 2018 WA Plating purchased an e coating line and Glomix e coating was formed. Glomix is based at 130 Paterson Road, North End.
We are a customer with the worlds leading chemical suppliers and have access to the latest technology and improvements. Most of our chemicals are imported from America and Germany. Our processes are listed on the IMDS website and are available to our customers.
Bernhard Radke
Is the owner of W A Plating cc. He was raised and educated in Germany and immigrated to Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 1990. He starting working for
W A Plating straight away and purchased the company in 1995. With his
knowledge of metals and chemicals, he has taken the company from strength
to strength. He prides himself on producing the best quality and on time delivery.

Tanja Radke
Dorothy Solanie
Tanja has been the Quality Administrator for WA Plating since 1995. She was educated in Cape Town however grew up in Port Elizabeth. She keeps a very close eye on all quality matters. She is also responsible for all book keeping and administration
Dorothy is the Factory Clerk and liaises with the customers on delivery times. She is also responsible for doing testing and keeping an eye on production and has been with the company for 26 years.
Vuyane Tafi is the Factory Clerk and Main Operator at Microcor.
Richard Radke is the Factory Clerk and Main Operator at Glomix.
Trinity De Vos and Etienne De Vos lead our Maintenance Team.
Amy-Lee Radke and Nicoleen Barnard assist with all Administration.
